Teaching Pastor-ElderBryan Payne is a graduate of The Master’s Seminary with a Master’s of Divinity. He has served in youth ministry for 6 years while working as the owner/operator of multiple businesses. Bryan and his wife, Lindsey, grew up in Texas and are happy to call Austin "home". They have three children--Nathanael, Caleb and one on the way.

Nothing excites Bryan as much as watching men and women grow in their love and understanding of Jesus Christ (Col. 1:28) while infectiously spreading the gospel with everyone around them (Matt. 5:14-16)! His desire is to see this done at home first and then with the people at Harvest.

When Bryan has free time, which doesn't happen often when starting a church, you will find him playing with his boys, on a date with Lindsey, playing or watching sports, or reading.

Favorite extra-biblical quote -- "Two things I know: I am a great sinner, and Christ is a GREAT Savior!" -- John Newton

Biblical Hero -- Peter..."Peter was the disciple with the 'foot-shaped' mouth. Sadly, I can feel his pain. But he was also a man who loved his Savior with all he had. His zeal and passion were his greatest strengths and also his most troubling weaknesses. I totally relate to that." -- Bryan

Favorite book -- "I read The Gospel According to Jesus during High School, and it changed my life more than any other book outside of the Bible. I have never seen my salvation and the cost of discipleship the same."
